DumDum Motijheel College join hands against ragging
Sandipan Manna : DumDum Motijheel College Conducts Anti-Ragging Orientation Program on 16th of December in its campus. Anti-Ragging committee and Grievance cell conducts a Program for its students, aiming to promote a culture of kindness, respect and inclusivity. The program, held on 16th December brought together students, faculty members and non teaching staff to discuss the negative impacts of ragging and the importance of creating a safe and supportive campus environment.
The main addressee of the session,Mr. Tarun Debnath, the officer-in-charge of Nagerbazaar police station shared valuable insights on ragging, it’s consequences and prevention. Another most important issue, cybersecurity and fraud was also mentioned. Students and faculty members actively participated in interactive sessions, sharing their experiences and suggestions for a ragging-free campus and cyber threats.The main objective of the Anti-Ragging Orientation Program aims to raise awareness about the negative consequences of ragging, encourage students to report incidents of ragging and foster a culture of empathy, respect and inclusivity.The National Cadet Corps of DumDum Motijheel College welcomed the guest with a guard of honour.
